Stockpiling…

Stockpile1When you shop for sales and bargains, you will often buy multiples of those items.  It’s a good idea to find a place to store those extras… we call that your stockpile.

When you find an item that is a good buy & you decide to add it to your stockpile, a good rule of thumb is to purchase a 3 months supply.

Many items rotate in sales within a few months time, others are seasonal.  As you begin to shop for deals, you will become aware of the general times that certain items are available for a great price and know when to really stock up on those items.

Sometimes it seems to cost you more when you begin stockpiling simply because you’re buying multiples at a discounted rate… unless, of course, you’ve found a freebie!  Once you’ve acquired a good stockpile you will find you don’t need to purchase those items for a good length of time and you will find them on sale again before you need them giving you a chance to replenish your stockpile at a discounted price.
